Gerwick, Inc. extensive experience with the design and construction of large floating concrete structures gives the company an excellent background to develop innovative construction techniques and equipment for the casting, launching and installation of pipelines, outfalls, and intake structures in a marine environment. Gerwick has performed engineering design and constructibility studies for numerous projects of this type throughout the world, including the Qinshan Power Plant Intakes in China, the Ensenada Intake Pipeline in Mexico, and the Barra da Tijuca Outfall in Brazil.
